Week 13 Offensive Player of the Week
The Week 13 Offensive Player of the Week as chosen by the voters of The Best Damn Poll in the Land is Texas QB Colt McCoy.
McCoy appears to be saving the best for last in his illustrious college
football career. Against hated rival Texas A&M McCoy had an
incredible performance that led his team to the brink of the National
Championship game.
McCoy had a personal best rushing night carrying the ball for 175 yards
and scoring a rushing TD as well. In addition to those impressive
numbers he also threw for 304 yards and 4 TD's through the air. An
extremely impressive performance to finish a perfect regular season for
the Longhorns at 12-0.
McCoy has recently established himself as the winningest QB in college
football history and the records keep piling up for the Texas legend.
The three things he hasn't yet accomplished in his career are a Big XII
Championship, a Heisman trophy victory and a National Championship.
All three are within Colt's sights and the first of those 3 can be
checked off the list this coming weekend at the Big XII Championship
against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Congratulations to Colt McCoy for being chosen as the Week 12 Offensive
Player of the Week at The Best Damn Poll in the Land. Best of luck to
Colt in the future.
