Week 9 Offensive Player of the Week
The Week 9 Offensive Player of the Week as chosen by the voters of The
Best Damn Poll in the Land is Houston's quarterback Case Keenum.
In a high scoring highlight reel type of game against Southern
Mississippi most of the highlights were created by Keenum. His totals
for the night included 559 passing yards and 5 touchdown passes in a
50-43 victory. Keenum was 44-54 on the night for a completion
percentage of 81% and his 559 yards were a career high. That is
impressive considering that Keenum has thrown for over 10,000 yards for
the Cougars in his career.
Keenum has been putting together an incredible junior season and he has
led his team to a 7-1 record. If he keeps this pace up he could be
making a trip to New York for a trophy presentation in December.
Congratulations to Case Keenum for being named the Week 9 Offensive
Player of the Week at The Best Damn Poll in the Land. Good luck to
Case in the future.
