Alright, sorry this is a day late, but better late than never....

The day started for me at  5:30AM when I got up.... after showering and getting ready, I cracked open a Rolling Rock at about 6:15 AM while waiting for the Greekmobile to come and pick me up.  It was myself, Klink, TG, Mrs. TG and the Greek's kids.  We drove up to Gainesville from Orlando, took about 2 hours.  When we got to UF, we parked and were greeted by OBG.  Let me tell you something, OBG is an awesome person.  He was great to hang out with and share good old Marine Corps stories with.  He is a great human being and all around good guy.  We were there around 8/8:30.  The next person to get there was GatorsBack2Back.  Again, another great person, he has a wonderful family as well.  His sister and brother-in-law showed up next, followed by G8torsweetie and her husband, then it was Hoosierdaddy and The Greek's Dad followed by LaylaGator.  By this time, it was getting around 11:00 or so... RHVGator showed up with his 2 daughters... and another guy named Eddie, who is from another board showed up as well.  Eddie and I were the only ones rocking Jhorts... go figure... I was also in camouflage... I had a Gators shirt on, and eventually put my Jhort Mafia shirt on... I was rockin my Cleveland Indians hat... I figured no one would really bag on me for that... and they didn't..Klink got some interesting looks shot his way, he was decked out in his Alabama shirt and Script A hat... funny thing was, no one could really say anything to him, after all... Bama is the current National Champs, and they went through the Gators to get there...

We got everything set up by about 9:45 or so... OBG made his mudslides, GB2B had the grill and everything set up... we had pulled pork, beef brisket... german potato salad, OBG's world famous baked beans and cheese dip... OBG also brought some sauces for the pork and brisket... they were amazing, I tried #2 & #3... both had good heat, and were extremely flavorful... I drank 2 mimosas, and then got started on the wine... some Barefoot Pinot Noir... we forgot to get beer... Oh, well, such is life... the food was amazing... loved it!

We basically all hung out, and shot the shit all morning till game time, then we headed over to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and went in for the spring game.  It was interesting, I have never been to a spring game before, so I didn't know exactly what to expect.  I liked what I saw from Brantley, the first play from scrimmage, he aired it out for about a 50 yard gain... the other QB, Burton I think his name is... he had some wheels.. that kid can run... all in all, the Gators looked good.... you can't really tell how well the defense is gonna do just yet, because they were not allowed to Blitz, for good reason... but I had fun... the stadium is very nice... it was pretty loud in there considering it wasn't even full... I can only imagine how loud it get's in there with 90K plus jam packed in those stands... Klink, Eddie, myself and Layla all left after the 3rd quarter... we needed to smoke.. and we all needed drinks..

After we got back to the parking lot, I got started on the bottle of La Crema Chardonnay.. that was good... again, had no beer, and it's booze, so what are ya gonna do?  I'm gonna drink... the game finished and everyone came back, we drank more and hung out a little longer... just mingled and had a great time, threw the football around... I was pretty drunk, so I did my Troy Smith Impression for the Greek... so his son wouldn't have to... it was all in good fun... Oh, while Klink was talking to me, OBG GB2B, Eddie and Layla, GB2B crouched down behind him, and I pushed him over... it was pretty damn funny...

After the Chardonnay was gone, I cracked open the bottle of Circ du Vin Meritage... that was excellent... Klink, myself and Sweetie partook in polishing that bottle off.. needless to say, I was pretty friggin wasted by that time, and it was time to go... I will say this, I did not puke... I did pass out for most of the ride... we stopped at a rest stop, I had to take the Browns to the Superbowl, and man did I ever feel better... I got my second wind, but passed out again on the ride home.. finally upon arriving home, I got my 3rd wind and went over to TG's house to say goodbye to Klink... Came home, sat up for a little while contemplating typing this, and said fuck it, I'll do it tomorrow...


All in all, I can say that I had an absolutely excellent time... it was most triumphant... Everyone that I met from this site is AWESOME!   They are some of the nicest, coolest people in the world... they are friendly, and fun to be around... they made me feel welcome, and we had a great time... no one picked on anyone in a mean way or anything, everyone was super cool... we ribbed one another about stuff, but it was just a blast... I can't tell you anything else, you really have to experience it... All the people that were there rock!

If we ever get a TBDPITL Conference set up, it will be a hoot... you will love all these Florida Gator Fans... they are hands down some of the best fans I have ever encountered.... just fine individuals, outstanding human beings... I look forward to doing this again... plus Sweetie and Layla are HOT!  Sweetie is taken, her husband is really really cool though... just overall great people...
GB2B is very cool as well, so is OBG... Klink is the MAN!  Can't wait to hang with that dude again... we had a blast!  RHVGator is very very cool as well... no one wasn't... OBG is, in my opinion a true American Hero, I have nothing but respect for that man... he and I may argue a little here and there about Ohio State and the Gators, but that guy is awesome!  Layla is a sweetheart, she is one of the nicest people in the world, and very pretty too!  Eddie was super cool as well..

I can't thank everyone enough for the good food, and good time, and as I said before, I can't wait to do something like this again!

Hope you all enjoyed my little recap... I may have left some stuff out... I didn't get so drunk that I blacked out or anything... and I remember the whole day... my timeline jumped around a little bit up there, but you all get the gist....
