Dear Tim, As you made your way through the tunnel on Saturday for the last time, it was surreal. Four years have seemed like four minutes...and yet, it has felt like you have been with us forever. It was four years ago that you came to Gator Nation, and four years later, you are leaving it in much better shape. I am not talking about the football program either. I am talking about the people that make up Gator Nation. You have touched all of our lives in a way. We held our heads up a little higher because we had Tim Tebow on our team. Your humility on and off the field is so refreshing. Your endeavors off the field even more so. You have taught us to be charitable. You have taught us to think of others. You have taught us strength and determination in the face of defeat. You have brought Gator Nation closer than ever. You still have a long way to go teaching us to be humble...but you're so dog gone good on the field....you make it hard. Another thing you have done, you have seen to it that the dust on the cover of almost every family Bible has been blown off, heck, I am sure you have been responsible for those Bibles in the hotel rooms being opened for the first time. You have handled all the media pressure, criticism , and praise beyond what is expected of you. You always have a smile on your face, always giving credit to others, and showing what an incredible leader you are, by walking the walk without talking the talk. You have taught our children that it's okay to have values. That it is okay to have beliefs. You have shown that even though you have the fame and the fortune of the material world, that the spiritual world is where you are grounded. And that makes you stronger as a person. And now to that stuff called football... You have thrilled us time and time again. You have made us stand up and scream until we were hoarse. You have given us every bit of blood, sweat, and tears you have to offer. You have delivered beyond measure. We cannot thank you enough. So, regardless of the outcome of the rest of this season, Gator Nation won't be the same without you...and that's a good thing. "In all kinds of weather, we'll all stick together, for F-L-O-R-I-D-A!" Go Gators!
