Well, since it's blogtoberfest... I figured it's time to contribute...

Well, due to Brighthouse sucking balls, I do not have the Big Ten Network... It is considered a premium channel and I do not have the sports package... I do have all the movie channels though, sans Encore... So I usually watch movies when  I am sitting at home.  Well, I wouldn't say watch.  More or less for background ambiance... Needless to say, I did not get to see the Buckeyes blow it to Purdue today. 

I got home at 6:30.  Went to bed at 7:30.  Mind you, I had been up since 4:50AM Friday Morning, had only ate once (breakfast) and started drinking at my drummers house at 5:30PM.   Left my drummers house at about 6AM Saturday Morning, and as stated above did not make it to bed until about 7:30 AM this morning.  Had to get up at 11:45.  But slept and got up at 12:30.  So, I proceeded to head to my Winn Dixie that I take care of and work out all the remaining wine that I had in their back room so it would not count against them for their inventory on Monday.  Needless to say, I was hungover pretty bad.  I know, no sympathy needed.  I'm not looking for a Pity Parade.  It was self inflicted.  Regardless, when I had left home, my mom gave me a score update, it was tOSU 7 - Purdue 0.   I was leaving Winn Dixie at 2PM and the store manager told me, that he hoped Ohio State would lose.  I shrugged it off, and proceeded to check my phone.  I have Verizon, and I have ESPN on my phone.  Pretty cool, but I'm not to happy with Verizon.  Too damn expensive.  I saw the score was 26 to 10, in favor of Purdue.   Mind you, my head is fucking pounding already, and I didn't need to see this shit.  I call The Greek to find out what the fuck is going on.  He tells me.  I get home.  Still can't watch the game due to the conspiracy by the cable company to try and fuck everyone out of more money.  And I just lay on the couch.  I take 2 aspirin.  Watch the college score board on ESPN, and find out that Ohio State has lost.  The highlights come on and I don't even watch them.  I just went to sleep.  I felt like shit, and maybe, if I woulda stayed in last night and not gotten wasted.  Just Maybe, Ohio State woulda won.  I know, I know.  It makes no difference as far as what I do, matters at all in the outcome of a football game.  But I can be a bit delusional at times.  I am only superstitious when it comes to college football.  I don't know why.  Just the way it has always been.

So besides the fact that they lost to Purdue, this loss is pretty big in the overall picture for Ohio State.  This also raises several questions as far as can they win any of the 3 big challenges left on the schedule?  It's not looking too good, and I say this because there is no definitive leadership on the Offensive Side of the ball.  Pryor is not a great leader yet, he is having a lot of problems with his decision making, and I don't think he is gonna grow up between now and Iowa, or Penn State or scUM.  So this makes me a bit worried.  I know the defense is good, but they gave up 28 points to Purdue.  I understand that the Offense had some turnovers and gave them good field position, but the Offense needs to put some points on the board.  I just don't get it.  I know people have a bad week, but shit.  WTF!?  So now I'm sure the scummerine fans are jumping for joy.  They are licking their chops after their big drubbing of Delaware State.  Wait a minute... Delaware State?  FUCK YOU suck-assarines.  You played Delaware State?  Is that an NAIA school?  just kidding.  But get real.  If you didn't dominate that game, something would be wrong.  Shit ass Easter Michigan could probably dominate that game. 

The 2 other teams I see beating Ohio State this year are Iowa and Penn State.  Iowa may be a stretch, it is a home game, but they are playing well, and could pull it off, if Ohio State does not get their Offense together.  If I was Jim Tressel, I would make them practice tomorrow.  Screw giving them the day off, after that performance, they do not deserve it.  I don't care about NCAA rules at this point.  Penn State rolled over Minnesota, and keeping that in mind, the game is in Happy Valley, which is a very difficult environment to play in.  Can Ohio State win that game?  To be completely realistic...  it would take a friggin miracle.  I just don't see them winning that game.  Sorry fellow Buckeye fans, I am a homer to an extent, but I am also a realist.  I'm just not feeling it this year.  The offense is very young, and they are making too many mistakes and putting it all on the Defense and the Special Teams to win games.  Which, is not gonna happen every time.  I am not giving up on the Buckeyes, you never know.  This may be the loss they needed to wake their asses up and get them rolling for the rest of the Big Ten season. 

Now, on to that school up north.  Yes, I have admitted in public, that I like Tate Forcier.  I hate the fact that he plays for those bastards, but I like the kid.  Good QB, has the moxie and the will to move his team down the field and keep them in the game.  Shit, they beat the Golden Domers, with a last second drive.  What more could you want?  Yes, Yes, I know... the scummerines want the Buckeyes.  BAD!  5 straight wins is tough for them to accept, not only that but 7 out of the last 8 had made most of their heads explode.  After the domination of the 90's, they can't handle the concept of loosing to tOSU year after year.  Yeah, it sucks doesn't it.  You miss John Cooper, don't you.  Well, I don't so fuck off.  I got to watch Ohio State beat scUM once in the 90's.  Once... that's it, so all you scummerine fans can suck my dick.  I sat there year after heartbreaking year, while you jumped for joy and got all happy because you dominated my team for an entire decade.  Well, it sucks ass when the shoe is on the other foot.  You might win this year, I give you that.  You are playing tOSU in the Big Shit House, so you have that advantage.  The only X Factor I see for you is Forcier.  I believe he is better than Terrel Pryor.  Now, Now Buckeye fans, don't jump my shit for saying that.  Look at both bodies of work so far.  He has made better decisions down the stretch and when the games have been on the line this year, than Pryor has.  Hands down.  So aside from all those factors, I still think Ohio State has the edge on defense and special teams. 

So, that being said, Ohio State has a lot of work to do on offense if it wants to beat any of the 3 teams I mentioned.  Minnesota could be a trap game, but we'll see.  I am pissed, but not suicidal.  No need to have me on suicide watch this week.  I'm too hung over to be extremely upset about this loss.  It's not the end of the world Buckeye fans, there are plenty of games left in the season.
