Big East Shouldn't Be Overlooked

Just because the media decided that the Big East should be inferior doesn't mean they are inferior. Sure they are a smaller league of 8 teams, but these teams aren't crap ass like Duke, Washington State, Vanderbilt, Maryland, etc....sure Syracuse was pathetic, but they passed that kidney stone to Michigan in the form of Greg Robinson....

    They have a terrific OOC win percentage and have beat several noteworthy teams at their place and at their turf...The media is blatantly SEC, Big 12, Big 10 and USC biased. That cannot be argued. I am not complaining....it is just a fact that exists in this world. After the raid, the Big East was left with no "history-backed" team that would be the media darling. Well anyone who studies history knows of the "power vacuum." Once a big power is removed (VT,Miami) another player will rise to the power of the throne. (WVU in the past 5 years....and more recently Cincy and USF)

    These "new" powers are never looked upon as being as good as the currently enthroned powers(Florida, Oklahoma, USC, Ohion State, Texas, Alabama) because of their lack of history.

    I just beg of you thick-headed people who agree with the media rather than look at the team, games, or facts that the Big East can hang with the Big Boys....and if you disagree just ask Oklahoma and Georgia how fast WVU really is....

Now I am a WVU fan and I must admit....I agree with Rich Rod. Not about banging WVU cheerleaders behind your wife's back, sucking off the Michigan AD in Toledo for a job, throwing the game to Pitt, cheating constantly, or crying on national television like your Susan Lucci.

I agree with him about scrimmages against other teams. It would certainly help. I will take WVU as an example. WVU's defense runs a 3-3-5 stack. Will they ever play a team that runs that same alignment? The answer is a no. They will play the 4-3 mainly with some 3-4 mixed in. Will lets say Ohio State face their same offense week in and week out....no. Take away the stupid FCS opponent and schedule a scrimmage!

I'm tired of Charlie Weis dining on cupcakes and looking like the Goodyear Blimp about to hover around Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Children are starving in Ethiopia Charlie!! Share the snacks fatass.

A scimmage would certaily help all teams in college football. Good idea RR....now go screw up somemore for me!

Tebow's Groin is thoroughly clean now

Hey Spurrier!!! You can get up now! ESPN, the SEC and Tebow are fully satisfied with the teabagging you just performed on our holiness....

But seriously guys, is there a more ballywooed player in all of sports that Tebow? I give him his due, but he isn't doing this by himself. I can count at least 14 5* players on offense he has played with during his 3 years at UF......yet he gets all the credit and accolades. I wouldn't be happy if I were a Gator watching every sportscaster on earth water at the mouth oogling to get their mouths on the holy tebow. It is a bit nauseating to me personally.

This is a team sport. Tebow might have made one statement where he has given credit to a "team effort." I understand he is the team leader, but he isn't letting his team get the glory. It is all Tebow, tebow, tebow.....I am tired of ESPN blowing this figure into a status he truly isn't that good for.....legendary. Tebow is just an oversized running back throwing to receivers who run 4.2 speed.....congrats. What an acheivement!!!

Do I sound bitter? Well the thing is that I have no connection to a SEC team or even watch SEC football. I think it is overhyped and not that far ahead of the curve. They have 2 elite teams this year....UF and Bama....the rest...eh.....I just think this ESPN and SEC combo might hurt the sport in the long run.....no one likes a monopoly....especially me apparently

But back to Spurrier.....if I were him and I "didn't vote" for Tebow....I would stick to my guns and just say Snead is a better overall quarterback....because if we are going to be absolutely true to ourselves....Snead is more skilled than Tebow.....he just lacks the weapons like Harvin

Seriously people I am getting tired of all these "rape" charges being brought up on athletes. 99% of the time these girls consented to sex or is making the whole story up. Of course the bottom line is for cash money. The only high profile athlete I can conceivably see as being guilty of their rape charge is Kobe....I mean we all saw him bend over the whole Magic squad and rough them up a bit
