Well what a crazy week in Knoxville it has been, UT fans are worried, scared and hurt....You can say "Well it's his dream job" or "It's a better job" thats fine because you are not a Volunteer.....To us there is no better job out there, UT football is as big as it gets around here for us, its more than just a hobby or a good time, Its a way of life dammit.....

College football is special to us all thats why we are here on this board , but to most of us SEC people its more than just a game it can decide the way your mood is for the whole week, if your team loses it's not just "Oh well we will get them next time" , it's "Damn I dont want to wake up until 2pm"...

The SEC is Rocky Top 200 times in 3 hours, its the Gator Chomp at the opposite fans, its a Roll tide Roll and a Sick em Dawgs, it's a Geuax Tigers and a War Damn eagle......Its Cowbells and The Grove...Its a C.A.T.S cats cats cats...It 's a PIG SOOOOIE and a Space oddesy.

Its fans that arrive to tailgate before sunrise and dont leave until almost the sun rises the next morning.

Its watching a spring football game and reading your teams practice report before you would the national news.

Its shedding tears while watching your team during their pregame traditions and winning championships.

Its where singing day is bigger than the NFL draft or even the NBA finals.

It's a fight song at your wedding and your teams colors at your funeral.

It's names like... Manning, Jackson,Walker,White,Tebow, Spurrier and The Bear.

It's where you can want to see your rival fans cry before kickoff and then shake their hands when it's over.

It's where 75% of your closet is your teams color.

It's naming your pets after your Mascot or your kids after former players and coaches.

It is more than just a pass time or a game, it's pride and traditon..ITS A WAY OF LIFE.

Lane Kiffin has yet to coach a game, but it seems he is now the most hated coach in the SEC, I am cool with that I auctually like it, but I dont like the lies and made up stories about him, like the whole "Gas Pumping thing" at South Carolina or the whole recruiting of 13 year olds, he has done enough to be hated already no reason to lie, but people are going to and I get that, what suprises me the most is that people swarm to it like a fly on shit, people I hope for your sake you dont believe eyerthing the media tells you becuase if you do you are in trouble.

Lane is my coach, he has yet to lose a single fucking game, he recruited a top 10 class and the overall number 1 player in the country without even a full year to get to know theses kids or even a single win under his name and that is also coaching a team who went 5-7 last year and lost at home to Wyoming.....He has got Tennessee in the spotlight of the offeseason, some good some bad, but it's working and I am cool with that, most Tennessee fans are.

The hate for Tennessee is funny lets look at some of the good stuff we have done and then look at peoples excuses to downgrade it.

We hire a good staff, but people start calling us the Yankees and act like we are wrong for spending a ton of money on our staff....Why is it a bad thing to spend money to get back to the top??? All schools do it, why cant we????

We get two of the defending national champions commitments to switch to us, but its becuase they are scared of the depth chart ...Not becuase we have a great tradition and they can help be part of rebuilding it, but they are lazy.

We then get Bryce Brown the top player in the country, but all we hear after that is 'He is overrated because he played in Kansas" or he "He has a ego problem, he is going to be a cancer"

Sure Lane has done some dumb things, but he has done some good ones as well, but the hate is blinding people of seeing that, everyone likes to say "Cant wait to see you guys this year , we are going to beat you by 50" I say "Me either!!!!!! Talk about bulliten board material we have got some to.
