Unintelligent No Ration Bull Shit!

Ok, as I read these preseason predictions one thing that makes me want to knock the shit out of people is when they say "Ole Miss can;t win the west because it's Ole Miss and they have never won the West" or "Clemson is going to be the same old Clemson. They always underachieve" ETC ETC ETC! Lets think about what we say before we open our cum dumpsters people!

When a team takes on a new face and enters into a transition period the team takes on a new identity and starts fresh....do you hear me?

Houston Nutt is entering his second year...what Ole Miss did prior to him has nothing to do with what he can do. Different players, different attitude, different scheme, different motivation, etc etc....

Dabo Swinney is a first year coach...Tommy Bowden era is over...same thing applies. Program is in better shape and has new attitude...and people look at the facts...Under Bowden Clemson only underachived preseason expectations twice

This is just two teams that came to mind because of local college football radio talk today! You cannot base what a team is going to do based on their past when they have a totally new look.

If you want to tell me Ole Miss won't win the West because although they are talented, their 2 deep is not worthy of competing for the SEC title and if they suffer any injuries they will struggle to remain a threat. They have great QB and offensive talent but lack depth at LB and to win the SEC and compete for a spot in a BCS game you need to be almost as talented with your 2 squad as your one and their talent will be beat up and slowed down byt he end of the season.....then fine thats acceptable

or

Clemson won't win the ACC Atlantic or have a successful season because they have a lot of concerns such as the loss of 2 starting WR, QB, an offensive line that was less than stellar last year, a LB that is talented but young and lacks depth, the loss of 2 safeties to the NFL....fine

But this shit its the same ole Clemson, or same Ole Miss is a horse shit arguement and to see people on this site which is supposed to be a site for above average fans using these excuses is horse shit. Lets keep substance to our arguements and avoid the same ole same ole stuff or you may receive a

DONKEY PUNCH FROM WHO ELSE BUT NMERRITT11

just a blog to vent about people who use no substance to justify their arguement....garbage!
Off Season Rants for no apparent reason but pure Entertainment!

Well, well, well! As I sit here in my office reading chat rooms, preseason forecasts, and studying up on my college football knowledge, I can't help to think why the hell do I spend so much time reading experts preseason shit? I mean seriously this garbage very rarely holds true and does nothing but get me hard, which ultimately results in a summer of blue balls for the lack of satisfaction from piss poor baseball, soccer (formerly known as keep away), and other bull that the ESPN mother ship likes to pawn off as athletics. Heres 5 things I do know #1: The final Top 25 will look nothing like the preseason! #2: There will be on team that shocks the college football nation #3: There will be at least one top 10 team that falls flat on their face #4: Their will be one Non-BCS team that makes everyone rip the BCS #5: There will be constant talk about who the top conference is every week!! Lets dive into my thoughts on each one:

#1: I think the preseason Top 25 is a bunch of horse shit. I believe you can get a good idea of whom is supposed to be good and who is not but when you have experts ranking N.D. anywhere from top 10 to not even in the top 25, you know that predicting this correctly is about as good of odds as me not throwing a Donkey Punch to people on this board! I very rarely look at this as my outlook on the college football season. Thats what is so great about this site....everyone feels the same way I do! And you you don't, well everyone has the right to be WRONG!

#2 I am not into predictions but my love for college football always has me looking around the nation looking for a team I think could suprise everyone and make a deep season run. I honestly have 2 teams I am curious to see how they follow up a strong end of the season run last year that people aren't really talking about as much as I think they should. I really really like Nebraska for one. I think that team was peaking at the end of the year. They have a ton coming back in a division that appears to have dropped off and they are willing to play defense. Impressed me in the 2nd half of that Gator Bowl completely man handling my Clemson Tigers! The other is NC State! Tom O'Brian Can really coach and he has some athletes! If Martin can avoid a sophomore slump they could be very very good! The fact he turned them around and got them into a bowl last year was amazing and they will be well coached and their division too is not unwinnable in the ACC.

#3 Here I have looked at 2 that I think could take steps back and fortunately for me they play in week 1 so i will know which one almost immediately! I look at Virginia Tech and Alabama and believe at least 1 if not both will not have staying power in the Top 10 and thats because both have brutal schedules and some gaps to fill. Tyrod Taylor needs to be great this year for them to be consistent and Alabama needs to replace their best OL, RB and their QB. Both play in divisions that expect to be much improved with the likes of UNC, GT, Miami, LSU, Ole Miss, Auburn, etc expecting to make huge strides. I could very easily see both of these teams lose 3 games this year and I could see both not making their conference championship games. My pick is Bama!

#4 We all know its going to happen and I for one don't care. Just hope Clemson knocks TCU out of the discussion early! So Houston, Buffalo, someone else? I have no clue here but we know it will happen!

#5 This is ongoing! Is it Big 12, SEC, will the ACC step it up? We know its not PAC-10, Big East, or Big 11 so I will go out on a limb here and say this year it will be the SEC. Hey until someone knocks them off they are kings. Big 12 needs to start playing defense, and ACC needs to get some consistency on the Top 10. However, ACC is my sleeper league. They are deep and talented and VT, GT, Miami, Florida State, UNC and yes Clemson all have the talent to make runs at Top 10 this year. But will that talent equate into wins we can only wait and see!

Well from Blog entry #1 I say so long and watch out behind you! Enjoy!
