So...due to someone's claim that Gerhart's stats "kill" Ingram's, I decided to take a look.

*If anyone can find Gerhart's yards after contact that would be helpful...
So Gerhart has 77 more carries and has 132 more yards. Is that killing? Methinks not.
He has 8 more total TDs. This may seem like a lot, but think about the
extra opportunities Gerhart has had. Hell, he had 38 carries against
Oregon! The most carries Ingram has had all season was 28 against Ole
Miss.
Now, let's look at the wins. Bottom line, Bama hasn't lost, while
Stanford has lost 4. Great players carry their teams on their backs to
victory. Without Ingram, Alabama would have lost the South Carolina
game...period...
So if you want to tell me that Gerhart is better and deserves the
Heisman more than Ingram, I'm cool with that. I can understand your
opinion and reasoning behind it. But don't tell me that Gerhart's stats
"kill" Ingram's. That's foolishness.
What say you TBDPITL Nation?

Re: Ingram vs. Gerhart
You're hate for the SEC never ceases to amaze me. You obviously know nothing about the value of stats. Enjoy your Rose Bowl getting killed by Oregon, not that it means anything anyway...
