It's that time of year again. The time of year where you can't get enough of Kiper and McShay. The anticipation of young players in the green room that will about to become millionaires. The hope of getting the next Peyton Manning or Aaron Rodgers instead of the next Ryan Leaf or JaMarcus Russell. It's time for the NFL Draft. I never said I'd ever do more than one mock draft, but I also said I'd never do two March Madness brackets, pick the Cowboys to win the Super Bowl, or pick Pitt to go as far as they're supposed to in the NCAA tournament. And now a days, it takes two make things go right!Mock Draft Version 1:1. Carolina- Cam Newton, QB, Auburn2. Denver- Marcell Dareus, DT, Alabama3. Buffalo- Von Miller, OLB, Texas A&M4. Cincinnati- A.J. Green, WR, Georgia5. Arizona- Blaine Gabbert, QB, Missouri6. Cleveland- Robert Quinn, DE, North Carol ... Read More »
My first bracketology of the season comes a little under a month before March Madness begins. Some things to know: -The winner of the East Region will play the winner of the West Region. -The winner of the Southeast Region will play the winner of the Southwest Region. -Conference champions are in bold. -The last four teams in were Marquette, Richmond, Gonzaga, and Butler. -The last four out were UAB, Michigan, VCU and Southern Miss. -The top overall seed was Ohio State, followed by Pittsburgh, Kansas, and Duke in that order. A couple of things in how I drop and move up teams this early in the year (it fluxuates as the season goes on): 1.) If you look good against someone you're supposed to look good against (i.e. Bama or Ohio State) you don't move down and will only move up if a bunch of teams in front of you lose. 2.) If you look like shit even with a win (Florida, OU, USC, Texas to a smaller extent) then I move you down depending on the severity, but it will never be too much. So here it is: 1. Alabama- Took care of business like they should've. They stay where they are. (Last Week: 1) 2. Ohio State- See Bama. (Last Week: 2) 3. Boise State- As of right now the ranking is justified. If there are more than 2 undefeated later in the year, they could drop. But as of now it is warranted. (Last Week: 19) 4. TCU- Dalton looked good, TCU hasn't lost their step from last year. (Last Week: 9) 5. Oregon- I had my doubts abou ... Read More » BuckeyeinTexas's 2010 Preseason Top 25 Ballot By BuckeyeinTexas on 8/1/2010 11:06 AM Here is my 2010 Preseason Ballot.
