The biggest problem I have with football officials is consistency when calling the excessive celebration penalties is consistency. Umpires have different strike zones per individual...but it stays consistent the duration of the game (and usually the duration of his career). Football officials are a fickle lot, unwilling to admit mistakes in light of video evidence, calling interference on one play, and then on a similar play call nothing at all in spite of the receiver being tackled.
